A far cry from the “coal oil” Grandpop George sold, bio-fuels has been added to the product line. Super efficient heating units and geothermal installations that slash energy use have replaced Great Granddad James’ old wick and pot-type stoves fueled by kerosene that was “bucketed” from a fifty gallon drum using a five-gallon can.
As “Your One Stop Shop!” for home comfort, Harriett’s Plumbing Services was added last year, a compliment to the water purification services and hot water heater installs that have been part of the business since the mid 1900’s.
Moving with “the speed of trust”, the “Harriett Family” adheres to their Dad, Bob Harriett Sr’s motto “We Go a Long Way To Make Warm Friends” and honoring their Purpose Statement: “To help improve the comfort and quality of the communities we serve.” It’s more then a job.
